High school includes classes 8–10, and is also known as secondary school or senior school. Class VIII is a bridge between the basics learned until Class VII and the details of those topics that get introduced in classes IX and X. Any gap until class VII is best attended in class VIII. We at Focus On Concepts appreciate this fact and make sure that the class students are ready in all aspect before they complete this important phase of school learning.
Maths concepts including Square roots and Cube roots, rational numbers, Quadrilaterals and Physics concepts including type of force and the introduction to mechanics as also the Chemistry topics including Combustion and Chemical effects of currents are crucial in terms of how students grasp these topics. How well the students understand these topics can make a vital difference going forward. We ensure that our students are ready to face the next level of learning introduced in higher classes.
We provide easy-to-read-and-comprehend variant of the chapter notes for every chapter. Besides this, we provide Doses for every chapter.
Doses are small question sets. Through a number of such sets, we aim at getting the students to be rehearsed with the concepts spanning the entire chapter. The students are expected to practice and review with the solutions we provide once the student has made his/her own attempt at solving the doses. As stated, each dose is small (set of five-six questions) aimed at continuity and thorough revision of the concepts learnt in class.
We record each and every session. That way, students attending the sessions will have access to the recordings at later times.
Additionally, we do complete recaps of topics we have completed and also conduct assessments periodically to review where the students stand.
